Here’s the current tally for Charlie. Still haven’t decided which one will be the second variant. Might try and squeeze in a few more customs before the release later this week!

Here’s a look at a candidate for the second color variant of Charlie. Gotta get a move on, still planning to release him on Wednesday!

So here is the first look at the completed first variant of Charlie, the new 6″ mini figure. The tentative release date is Wednesday November 25 at 3pm (pacific). There will be another version available and maybe a custom or two. All of the final information will go out in the newsletter in a few days. Hope you like him!
Here is a teeny tiny peek of the new character Pepper I’ve been working on. The sculpt is finished, just needs to be molded. He’s over 9″ tall so everyone cross your fingers I don’t run into any troubles in production. I’ll post full pics once the first cast is done. I’m hoping for a late November / early December release.
Also in the works is the new mini figure (click here to look at the prototype). He’s sitting in a mold as I’m typing this. His cap and hair have been re-sculpted, and I think there will be 2 color variants available for first release. He might be available for sale as soon as next week. More photos and information coming reaaal soon!

I have a new interview at Working in the Third Dimension, a new blog by esteemed sculptor & illustrator Liz Lomax. The blog features artists that work in 3D, many of whom work with polymer clay (the clay I use to sculpt my characters). If you’re mainly a fan of the “artist toy” genre (or whatever we’re calling it now), this blog will quite possibly have a lot of work you haven’t seen before, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Click here for a direct link to the interview. Many thanks to Liz for the feature!
I finished my custom Billy for the show held by Blamo Toys at Million Fishes Gallery in San Francisco. This guy is all wood, except for his glasses which are hand cast resin. He’ll be available for purchase at the show and also at DCon in Pasadena. Check the flyer images below for more info!
